@DINESH you might have put this thread in the wrong forum category, but anyways.

The ARP cache has a default timeout of 10 minutes and if there is an IP no longer used you're saying that the ARP entry does not get deleted after 10 minutes?

What Appliance and Firmware we're talking about? Does this happen only on a specific Interface? Port-Shield involved?

    Thanks .

Yes it is not getting deleted .

    SONICWALL TZ 400

Firmware version is updated recently to 11.

@DINESH because this is not a common problem (at least for me) I have the following quetions, which might lead us to a solution.

    • ARP Caches on a specific Interface only or all of them?
    • Interfaces are part of Port Shield or single?
    • What does the Timeout Column indicates, does it stick at Timeout in 10 Minutes?
    • Did you checked with Packet Monitor if there are still ARP Replies and Requests which cause this?

If nothing works out, you might consider contacting Support.

    • ARP Caches on a specific Interface only or all of them? - All .
    • Interfaces are part of Port Shield or single? - Part of Port shield .
    • What does the Timeout Column indicates, does it stick at Timeout in 10 Minutes? yes.
    • Did you checked with Packet Monitor if there are still ARP Replies and Requests which cause this?- Attached screenshot .

Try again, don't see anything attached.

OK, I see the attachment this time but it's no use for anybody trying to help you, it's just the statistics of the capture, not the content of the capture itself.

You need to filter the capture to only capture ARP. Then export it and analyse with Wireshark [probably easier than doing it in Sonicwall web interface].
