Aboud Firewall process TASK.

A hang occurred on the firewall today.

I checked the console log stored in the storage and there is a log saying "wdTask not run".

" 12/16 10:03:41.272: *** wdTask not run last 5 seconds *** "

What role does wdTask play?

Is it true that the firewall is hung due to this task?

    Thanks your answer.

I'm aware it's a bug, and the firmware will be updated soon.

I would like to know what the role of wdTask is.

I faced the same issue and due to that, My FW unit was restarting frequently.

Dont know exactly the role of the wdTask.

@Jeong I believe only a SNWL engineer can answer the question, but my best guess is, that wdTask is the Hardware-Watchdog.

If you downloaded the Trace Logs they might give you a hint what caused the hang. In the past (way way back) serial console was the last resort to figure out what caused a crash, but this might not help in your case if it was a one time incident.

Everything beyond probably needs SNWL involvement via Support.
