    Please follow the below steps:


    1) Login to Putty / Secure CRT to the appliance with username as "root" and the primary admin password.

    2) Enter the command "openssl version"


    This will display the OpenSSL version and its release date.


    Below screenshot shows just an example of command out put taken on Aventail firmware version 10.7.2-346.

    @RodPena This command does not work on a TZ 570 firewall.

    The only references to 'openssl' in a tech support report are Application Signatures.

    So the question remains.
