SonicWave 432o doesn't go Gigabit Ethernet 1000 Base T

Hello everyone!

It's my first time posting here.

I bought a SonicWave 432o Access Point and have headaches making it run at Gigabit Ethernet speed.

At first, I thought the cabling was the issue, so I also bought myself a 65-ft Cat7 cable to connect the Huawei HG8245W5-6T router downstairs to the 432o upstairs.

The router doesn't provide PoE, so I have a 50-W@48-V PoE injector between the router and the access point.

The topology is as follows:

I tested the following troubleshooting scenarios:

  1. Connect the router to a laptop upstairs. The resulting speed is 100 Mbps.
  2. Connect the router to a TP-Link access point upstairs. The resulting speed is 1 Gbps.
  3. Connect the router to the 432o. The resulting speed is 100 Mbps.

I am unsure if there is anything I could do with the 432o to solve the problem. For example, upgrading the firmware, or changing the configuration.

Thank you,

-nu
