Hello Community, I have a customer needs to correclty sizing an Azure istance to held a SMA 500v appliance serving 20 concurrent users. Anyone has experince in choosing the correct Azure sizing? Thanks.
@MitatOnge 1000 != 100, @Enzino78 was looking for advice regards to SMA 500v. I cannot add anything to that, but needed to point out that @Enzino78 is looking for real experience on that and not just vendor recommendations. Maybe someone else is running a SMA 500v on Azure who can chime in.
don't misunderstood. But what do you think; For 20 users, is it possible to run SonicOS Linux configuration with less than 2 cores 4gb ram? I dont think so.
Linux kernel is heavy nowadays. Based on my experience 1 core cpu and less than 4 gb ram will be problem.
normaly SMA500v getting started guide standart config 2 core 8gb ram.
No:10 sub referance.
Size—Select the appropriate VM size. The default setting is Standard D2s v3 (2vcpus, 8G memory).
