Route API request Through Firewall

I am attempting to link our ERP to an external application. The ERP is an application hosted on an internal server behind a Sonicwall firewall.

  • The internal IP for the ERP is xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx:1111.
  • The public IP created through SonicWall is yyy.yyy.yyy.yyy:2222
  • The IP of the external application is zzz.zzz.zzz.zzz

The following API request made through postman works when sent from the internal LAN

https://xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx:1111/LstWebStock?MMGRP1=WEB

The same API request from an external network routed to the public IP created in sonicwall returns:

Parse Error: The server returned a malformed response if HTTP or a timeout if HTTPS

    Hi @JKSP

did you create triple nat rules for this ERP system?

you should create Lan to Wan, Wan to Lan and Loopback nat rules
